What to Expect on Sunday
At Fellowship Baptist Church, our goal is to know Christ and to make Him known. We would love to help you come to know Jesus Christ, deepen your relationship with Him, and get plugged into a ministry where you can serve Him!
Sundays are the Lord's Day, and Sunday morning is our primary time of corporate worship and gathering together:
- We sing together. Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs all have their place in our worship service.
- We pray. People’s needs are important to us. During our weekly services, we take time to pray specifically for the needs of our church family and others, and to praise God for His blessings and answers to prayer.
- We encourage scripture memory. The Bible commands us to store God's words up in our hearts (Psalm 119:11; Proverbs 7:1-3). We encourage one another to grow in our knowledge and understanding of the Scriptures.
- We hear the Word of God. Our sermons come directly from the Bible. Feel free to bring a Bible or download one to your phone so you can follow along. Our preaching is Christ-centered and practical, emphasizing gospel application for everyday life. You will be both challenged and encouraged by the depth of Biblical teaching at Fellowship.
- We get involved. There are many opportunities to serve, making it easy to get involved.
- We fellowship. Fellowship is more than the name of our church—it is at the heart of our ministry. As we grow in fellowship with Christ, that love and connection flow into our relationships with others. Hebrews 10:24–25 "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
